how do i annodise R/C parts? any help would be great.

well it would take alot of money to annodize a part yourself, i'm not sure exactly how to do it but i have seen it done, you need a electrified vat of some chemical and then you have to adjust it according to the color you want, its alot like the chromeing proccess you might have seen of motorcycle shows.

I thought about doing this, but it involves the storage and use of sulfuric acid and nitric acid, which most households aren't equipped to handle. Not a great idea, espiescally since sulfuric acid has been linked to cancer, and if you anodize something yourself, you'll have alot of contact with it...

Also, check in your local Yellow Pages for metal finishing shops. Some will have a minimum run which is fairly cheap if you can gather up a bunch of parts to have done. However, all the parts need to be the same alloy. If they are not you will end up with variations in color even though they were done at the same time.
