Are you using the stock body? I have the 16 and have no issues with it hitting the body. Got a picture?

You can see both turnbuckles are hitting the body.

Ah I see whats wrong. On the 16 we mount the servo the other way round so the turnbuckle is super short. That clears the cockpit and it wouldnt hit the body. Mounting the servo the way as they instructed would allow for a longer turnbuckle and easier adjustment, but would interfere with the body.

Im not sure why they would do that....are you running the long wheelbase or short wheelbase? Running the short wheelbase pushes the front end back could result the steering interfering with the body as well

Long wheelbase. I think I will switch the servo position and changing to shorter turnbuckles.

Anybody using Shimizu Racing tires on WRC F-ONE? What compound and wheels do you use?
It's for CRC carpet, any suggestion?

Thanks

I dont race carpet, but from what everyone uses and recommend, pit's 571 572 combo for carpet is a good starting point. Coat the side walls of the tire with CA if you are experiencing traction roll.

571/572 tires
Tamiya or Exotek wheels
glue front sidewalls up to tread
Soft springs
Dope fronts at 1/2 and adjust as needed

AFAIK, there isnt anyone out there that makes other wings for this car. You are pretty much stuck with their system

At the moment no, you have to use the factory wings. I will be working on a few options as I get time. They will be available on Shapeways when ready. I'll post when they're finished.

A friend of mine made a piece out of nylon that replaced the two tubes that attach the aluminum blocks for the rear axle. Allowed him to use any kind of rear wing (aside from the WRC). I've always wondered if the Tamiya piece would work. (Bottom-left plastic piece in the pic in the link).

That would disqualify the car from the ETS series - for the time being.
