Default HPI Bodies - what's up

I was just looking at the HPI site and, of the 105 200mm bodies listed, only 18 are "in stock".

Does HPI just not update the site to reflect availibility?

Does HPI produce bodies in one big run and not make any more until those are sold out?

I know the various hobby sites have their own stock so bodies listed as "out of stock" by HPI can still be found.

Just curious...

Just have your local hobby shop check with their distributors, if there is a certain body your looking for. They should have a few different places to find a body for you.
Ordering directly from HPI, you will pay full price, but many shops will match mail order prices. Good Luck !!!!!!!!

I was wondering the same thing. Even on Tower Hobbies, a lot of HPI bodies, actually almost all of their 190mm RCGT bodies, are either on order, or have instock dates of late march or early April. They have like nothing in stock. Guess i will head to eBay...

Given that HPI only lists 18 bodies out of 105 200mm bodies as "in stock", are they really still in the business of selling bodies?

Or is business so good they can't keep them in stock?

Curiosity is a terrible burden
