That being said, a TC4 factory team with the carbon chassis and all the rest would be MUCH heavier, which is the advantage of the Diggity car over any associated product, it simplifies the car and saves you a massive amount of weight. If I ran a lightweight body, I think my DC4LE would be close to the lower limit. Remember that a body without any paint weighs over 100g, going from .030 to .025 lexan saves a bit.
One thing is for sure, I won't need to worry if I'm underweight!
That protek pack weighs a ton...lol... 333 grams ...wow... The dc4 le is pretty light though.... With a very light battery, lightweight body, and light electronics, the dc4 le will be in the 1200gram world...
1396 - 125(3300 battery) - 20(light body) - 50(light electronics) equals 1201 grams.... Add 179 grams flat on the chassis, and you' ll make weight... Weight holes down the middle would be great for lowering the center of gravity....

Rear sway bars?
Greetings, I have a carbon fiber/aluminum converted TC4 I bought that came with a sway bar installed up front but it doesn't have a rear one. Does anyone know if the sways bars TA sells ( ASC31057 ) are for both front and rear or do I need to buy a rear set separately?

Does anyone have recommendations for a metal spur gear for this vehicle? I do a lot of parking lot drifting and rocks keep eating my plastic ones

One of the funky Chinese places like Asiatees or boom racing may have one that will work but I wouldn't trust it. Perhaps u need to find a new place to drift if your chewing up spur gears I can't imagine the damage that's happening to your chassis and tires.
How does one adjust the rear diff in this car? My rear diff is too stiff.
On another note, I took my car to a large track today and had a blast. I was running 18.5 second laps and with many adjustments and practice I was in the 16.5-17 range. I handed my transmitter to a semi-pro driver and he basically ran 15.4 laps... I think he is running 14 second. laps with his car.... I don't have enough motor..5.5t and need to change my esc too... Also running the stock body, but have a protoform Mazda that needs installation. This may help a tiny bit...I will change out the esc and motor in the future... On another note...I borrowed a friends shorty pack80 c and 4600mah as opposed to my standard 7200 mah heavier packs. My c rating for the 7200 is 70 c if memory serves... The latter was good for a .5 per lap difference...so much fun.....

To adjust the rear diff you pop the I believe right side cvd out of the out drive and there is an adjustment screw in the out drive. Don't loosen to much though or it'll slip and burn up on u. I'll double check which side shortly to be sure. Also you don't have enough motor with a 5.5? How big is your track? Can you gear up any to gain more speed?

Just by looking at the chassis its obvious the AE version is lighter with most of the chassis cut out.
The associated chassis itself looks lighter than the diggity designs chassis, but the weight really comes from the aluminum Camber link mounts, and center spline, on top of the heavy electronics that most people use.... It's possible to just use the diggity designs shock towers and 2mm top plate on the factory team tc4 to lose some weight, but you'll still need light electronics to make weight....The center spline weighs 19 grams, and I guess the camber link mounts weigh about 20 grams... After that, you'll be able to use a 310 gram battery pack, but it's much cheaper to use a lighter battery .....

Bert your trying to save too much weight especially since a majority of tc4s race in USGT and VTA and for those that do run 17.5 or mod 16 grams overweight isn't going to make any difference.
