I'm running the club plastic shocks still. Ordered the bleeder caps but still not happy with them.

Was hoping I could find some VC3S shocks from a chop shop on eBay but no dice...

Guess I'll just get the FT shocks.

You got to drill more holes in your pistons to get the smoothness... Four or eight hole pistons work best for laminar flow....The two or three hole pistons are to turbulent for smoothness and consistency......

I am thinking of getting this and place my esc behind the battery for weight balancing purposes. I own Promatchracing and smc's...both are great. Subsequently one can get pretty close to minimum weight.

The yodog chassis looks promising.....

Lastly...anyone know where I can buy a black oxide steel screw kit? I hate the alum. Screws as they are so fragile....not worth it to me.... Yes I have good tools....
You are not likely to find a "screw kit" but you can order all the sizes you need from McMaster Carr.

I purchased this car about 4 months ago and was told it was a TC4. Another person said it's a TC3. Can anyone tell me exactly which one it is?

Looks like a Factory Team TC4, but has some additions and deletions. The steering tack isn't stock as it came with plastic bellcranks, the upper deck is missing, and the battery strap and related plastic aren't stock. And those front springscare WAY too heavy for anything but bashing.

Looks like a TC3 with after market chassis and shock towers. Missing the center shaft and motor mount and one of the 2 rear braces looks stock TC3 when others are graphite.

This was an older picture, I'll take a pic when I get home of how I have it sitting right now. I do have an aluminum shaft and there is a carbon upper deck.

Second race with my VTA TC4 was a blast. Ran the Minnard setup with blue springs and no sway bars.

Got caught up in the first lap mayhem and then struggles to get a clean past up to second but nearly edged out the win behind local fast guy Jeff's Awsomatix.

Then after the main I put silver front and green rear springs with a silver front and black rear sway bars. Gained another tenth or two and got an unofficial 8.9 in practice.

I'm loving on road!

That's an all custom chassis made by someone other than AE...

Here's the pic of how it sits right now. I'm not really into racing so I mainly just use it drift around or throw some street tires on and drive around.

The picture you posted looks a lot like this chassis being sold on the eRacingPro website (http://eracingpro.com/shop/899-graph...-tc4-blue.html)

I'm not sure if that is their conversion chassis or a different brand. Hope this info helps.
