Also, all the hing pin spacers, is that to raise the inner end of the lower a-arms so they'll be parallel to the ground due to the low ride height? I've always questioned running any angle on lower a-arms. In my autocrossing experience, my truck (yep truck) always handled better when the lower a-arms were parallel to the ground, even better than if the truck was lowered more because that caused the a-arms to angle up.

I would guess that after adding all the hing pin spacers, the upper inner links needed to be lowered to make the upper links parallel to the ground (or parallel to the lower links). ?

Thanks again, congrats on the TQ and win! The setup is obviously working :-)
Thanks for the congrats! :-)

"0" caster is stock caster block for a TC4. As I understand it the caster is in how the Circle and triangle mounts are shimmed to each other. Get this right before you start adding caster with the 2 or 4 degree caster blocks. <<< Again how I understand TC4 setup.

The spacers are same amounts given in the TC4 Club manual.

===

The main reason for shorter ballstuds is >> the manual has two spacers per ballstud and the TC4 was UN-driveable, after removing those, it was almost SWEEEEET!! TC4 had NO twitch on the straights with the shorter ballstuds.

Looking good YoDog.
I have my Diggity setup with Shorty. Best balance is pack all forward with ESC mounted behind it. With my 200g pack it puts me ~6g heavy on LiPo side, front to rear balance is about 10g heavy in front with steel diff and full size servo.

It's the stock TC4 dual crank steering rack. The latest pics show the FT aluminum version for NutDriver (RCTech member). This is his chassis.

The latest chassis update will have a 15mm range of adjust-ability for both full size and shorty packs in both front and rear mounting configs.

Which TC4 >> tub or FT?

Tube try VTA

FT try TC

IF I remember right the FT info starts around page 318, don't know where the "Club" info starts.

Its a tub I wouldn't be against swapping it over to a flat CF chassis if they aren't overpriced but from reading it seems like alot of parts are basically impossible to find.

hopefully yo dogs kit will be affordable but I run my tub tc4 in 17.5 class very competitively. Im right at minimum weight with my car and don't want to add a bunch of ballast just to make weight. Now somebody figure out how to retrofit xray's active rear suspenson to my car and id be all over it

That's why I'm racing a tub, hopefully YoDog chassis won't cost a arm and a leg!!!

@gooba, you haven't seen Jeff Jenkins' 3D-printed rear arms?

I may be looking at the picture wrong, but is the motor mounted in the front on the chassis in your link? I see the spur and the steering rack as well as the motor mount.
