Cool

Associated setup sheets are very good to start.... I always end up with slightly softer springs though: silver AE springs or yellow tamiya(13.33lbs) all around @ 1380grams to 1410grams...

@stanford55 you really want to get a 60 or 55t spur gear. I don't know that the tc4 has enough adjustment to run that big of a pinions with that size spur. A 60/37 combo will put u at 4.05fdr. Just remember to Dremel under the pinion a bit to fit it

Lipo based TC4 Club chassis setups.

First is for soda treated parking lot asphalt, the second is for airport runway sealer treated on road.

Hey TC4 guys...
Soon to be released is a TC4 Carbon conversion that will accommodate TC4 Club racer, TC4 FT and Diggity designs DC4 parts.
The conversion will include a 2.5mm carbon chassis plate, a 2.0 or 2.5mm carbon top deck, a floating servo mount, battery stays and all required hardware to update your TC4 to the next evolution in performance.

Remove all the drive train and suspension from your Tub Chassis TC4 and bolt directly to this new kit. You can choose to use the front and rear side braces or remove them for a more flexible setup.

More details to come soon.

Interesting. Pricing comparable or better than the competition?

I would love to try that in my USGT car. Do you know what the weight saving are over the tub?

Default Hi...

I left this hobby for quiet some time...considering to get the TC4 (seeing the thread is still active)....just want to know few things.

1. Can the TC4 handle 13.5/10.5 boosted? Standard out of the box.

2. If so, how to solve the shaft wobbling..issue.

Any advise is really appreciated.

Heard a rumor someone is looking into 3d printing gear diff or a set of bulkheadsto support someone elses gear diff. Any truth to this. Would be very tempted to jump on board the TC4 train if so.

The front ball diff will add TONS of steering from the middle of the corner to the exit and will probably be pretty hard to drive without some other changes to go with it.

This is a vta car right? If so start your camber at 1 degree front and back.
It is a VTA car with the HPI vintage d-compound rubber tires, yes. I can try to tip the front shocks in. I am running the black sway bar front and rear and really like how it calmed the car down. I think I'll keep those.. couldn't imagine running a thicker bar in the rear. Thanks! Tuning adjustments are free!

Anyone who has run a front ball diff.... what suspension changes are needed ?

Now that is cool. What's the weight difference? Any video of the car driving?

Should be better, comparable and cheaper than the others.

I'll include that info when I release the kit. At the moment I am continuing testing and laying out materials for a production run of about 30 kits.

The weight savings should be significant especially if you go the minimalistic route.

No Video yet (as far as I know) I'll be sure to post something from my next outing. The car is stable with tons of steering. it was surprisingly flat around the track at TQ Raceway when you consider mine has no sway bars on it.

I ran it with an HPI RX7 body that I use for GT10.
