does it matter if i have the green or orange timing sensor in the ballistic boss VTA? I see the exploded view novak has online is orange w/ no fish paper, mine came with green w/ fish paper.

I don't think it matters. I have swapped parts around in a few ballistics when I was being cheap and just bought a different turn stator. The color in the timing part of the motor seemed to match the same color as the stator. For example the Novak 17.5 motor I bought had yellow inside the timing end to match the yellow of the stator. I turned that motor into a 25.5 Ballistic and didn't have any issues.

Default Just got my TC4 team kit!

Just got this discontinued baby won off an Ebay auction. Never been used for $130 shipped which I think was an awesome deal. Plan on building a 100+ mph basher!

How do you setup the front of a TC4 club to gain negative camber as the suspension compresses?

I think pretty much all setups will do that. If you're looking for a larger amount run a shorter front camber link.

What size shims do I need to remove the slop from the stub axles? Will 5mm work?

How much slop do u have? A little won't hurt anything in fact you want a SMALL amount. Shimming it out can cause drivetrain bind

If you want to use shims on the axles, Team Associated makes some shims specifically for that purpose. Here is a link on their website (http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/7368/)

You can also use the transmission shims - (http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/3911/)

Basically any shim that has a 3/16" (or larger) inner diameter should work.

Got to do some mod racing yesterday with my tc4 finished 5th in the A. Was really hard to put the power down out of the slower corners. I ended up taking my 6.5 out and dropping in my 10.5 which helped but just couldn't put a good run together when it counted

Just make sure the setup station has holes that are big enough to accept an 8/32" axle (on the part that holds the car off the ground). Some setup stations have smaller holes/are made to work with the metric axles on most of the cars out there.

This thread has seemed slow lately and I just realized that Bert hasn't posted recently. Did a quick search on his recent posts and it turns out his account was been suspended for a month (starting 11/03/14).

You can use any setup station. But you will have to ream out the holes for the axles to fit. No big deal.
