Bitty designs? If you mean Diggity Designs, I have one you can put your hands on.

The only other tow issues we might run into is the out drive lengths and proper machining of the input shaft for the bevel gear.. but that is nothing that a lathe can't fix .. other than that your looking at a 2.47 final drive ratio vice the 2.5 and your adding about 10~15Grams per diff

I am assuming those are the b44.3 diffs. all that is needed are proper input shafts. cool lucky for me I have access to all the equipment needed to make those. just need to get my hands on some diffs. if anyone is interested I'm sure we could work something out on some input shafts.

Yes they are B44.3 diffs.. it would be nice to get a set of input shafts that are made out of Ti or a hardened Alloy that might hold up with metal gears.. that might have some sore of weight savings to offset the weight of the added weight from the gear diff

But anything that would help get a set of input shafts made I in for

I will also post up a few pic's of the area's that need to me ground off to make it spin freely in the TC3/4 case

@ford02 parts are fairly easy to get as far as stock parts(arms, shock towers etc,) and any standard tires and bodies will fit. Tower, amain, and tq rc always have parts in stock. My LHS is really good about getting parts too. Upgrade parts are fairly easy to get as long as you don't want all the factory team parts as they are starting to get scarce

I just finished painting my blitz gsf body, and it weighs 60grams versus the lightweight Protoform Mazda Speed6 that weighs 91grams... Also I could lower the blitz gsf body down two more holes on the body posts without issues... The CG of my tc4.1 got lowered significantly, and the gsf has been making a name for itself around the world....Peace.....

Working the input shaft situation right now for the gear diffs and going to do away with the E-clip and put a screw in it's place that should hold the smak gear in place just fine... just have to wait for the machine shop to get me the parts back.. should be about 1~2 weeks..

Cool

I write here for the real tc4 enthousiasts, not the haters !!! I am sure some secrets will come out in the process, that's life... At least the newbies will have an idea how to make the tc4 TQ and win, thanks to BERT....
Feel free to use your ignore rights; you have nothing to add anyway !!!

I used a screw on the geardiff i made a few years ago. Im not a fan of the screw as it has a chance to come out and ruin the geardiff. But it worked.

Had a great day today at the track . Took my diggity designs dc4 le for a practice day and dusted off the cob webs. Pulled the fastest laps of the day. I modded the chassis a few nights ago by narrowing it by 18mm and drilling and slotting it for use of shorty packs. All i can say is i was impressed with how well this car drove in 17.5 . Going to work on a a.r.s system for the rear and get the gear diffs in to get some more corner speed but going to actually put some effort into this car now. Here are some pics of what it looks like with my modded dc4 chassis.

Awesome! You might want to post this to the Diggity Designs thread as well. I have a DC4LE I run in USGT.

Nice job with the narrowing of the chassis.. and I like the idea of that shorty as well

What did you use to cut the carbon fiber down... and what did you use to countersink the holes you drilled
Might have to do this to my DC4 Chassis
