Hi all, new to the forums. Running two TC4 club racers; one a speed runner with almost all graphite and aluminum parts, steel outdrives for the rear diff (the plastic ones melted), and a Castle 5700kv on 3S. The other much more driveable with a 9.5t. Great cheap fun for such a great chassis!

How far do u need them to be moved? Could you use a spacer and longer screw? Otherwise you may just have to live with the posts thru the window

I ran my tc4 last weekend what a blast, I think I'm going to like this VTA class. Are most of you running sway bars? If so which color, and are you running both front and rear.....parking lot racing, the track is sprayed with soda. Thanks in advance.

I run the softest/thinnest bar F/R from the TC4 swaybar kit. Will need two kits to do this.

If you go to the Team Associated site, they have numerous setups for the TC4 listed there. I am running VTA indoor and on carpet. I run the black swaybar in the front and the silver in the back.

Most folks run the TC4 in VTA or USGT. In those cases, most seem to run a diff in the back and a spool in the front.

I run my TC4 in VTA with plastic ball diffs front/rear. However, I run as little rear toe as possible. This suits my late braking & turn-in driving style on a track with a lot of tight 180 turns.

what bodies fit better, 190mm or 200mm?
or is it the width?

When a body is noted as a '200mm body' or a '190mm body' that is the width. 200mm cars are typically nitro touring, but I think VTA may use 200mm bodies as the VTA spec wheels have a large offset, especially the rear tires.
If you want to use a typical size wheel/tire combo, I would get the 190mm body.
