Tony,

I purchased them last night and didn't see a supplement in the bags. Could I have gotten one of the first batch before it was caught?

Thanks,

Ron

You need to grind the tranny case a little so it won't rub on the arm when you use the 2* arm mount.

I would leave the tranny case and grind the arms slightly. This won't weaken the arms, but may weaken the case. The bosses on the case a bit smaller in diameter (less meat) than the arms.

Tony,
I had a problem with my diff gears (too thick) and called Don as you suggested on the thread here. He was real helpful and you guys are doing a great job. It is good having a factory rep on here. You should get Barry and Lufaso on here to help with carpet setups for Cleveland.

I will let you know how the Yokomo clamping hubs fits once I get them. Also, glad your site is back up.

The TC4 is my 9th AE kit and I have always loved the kits you guys put out. Thanks for all of the hard work from everyone, top to bottom over there.

Thanks,
Ty

KilRuf,
If you get a chance please repost how you rearranged the arm mounts to lessen your rear toe-in.

thanks

I have the Yokomo clamping hubs and they work fine but a solid cross pin would be a better choice then the roll pin provided in the kit.

You can swap the front circle mount for the rear x mount. I think the circle mount requires an extra shim to get it to the same height.

Without anti-roll bars available for the regionals this weekend, I decided to adapt the TC3 bars to my car. I used TC3 arms all the way around. This required enlargement of the inner hinge pin hole and one extra wheel base adjustment shim otherwise the geometry looks the same.

I then had to remove the outer hole on both front and rear chassis braces and grind a little of the rear chassis mount away to clear the sway bar link.

I also had to drill a hole in the rear hub carrier for a setscrew to hold the pin.

Heh heh, Jack Smash IS MacGyver!!! Hey man, whatever works!!!! Anti-roll bars should be shipping either tomorrow or friday.

Ty: Glad we could help ya out! I have a carpet setup from Mr. Eric Derosiers. He just recently won both the 19 turn and Modified classes at the ROAR Region 1 Carpet Champs. Give his setup a try. I'll also be getting my hands on some other carpet setup soon.

I loved MacGyver. Too bad he is going to have to enlarge and do all that other stuff to his arms everytime he breaks...

I'll only be running this setup to get me through this weekend. Was hoping the anti-roll bars would be shipped by today but no such luck.

Tony,

Could you post the pdf on this thread for Derosiers set up. Got a message saying too many downloads from different locations on your site and it won't upload.

Thanks,

Ron

Ya. Sorry. I'm getting this on ALL the pages on my site. This is what happens when you use a service because you don't have a personal server. Guess this is a good excuse to buy one, eh???

Sorry. It should be up soon.
