Anybody check out Pavidas's worlds car pic? Looks like he dremeled the chassis braces on his TC4. Guessing a little flex is the way to go on this car?
I'm really suprised that M. Francis was the only U.S. driver in top ten using a ...<cough> JRXS...excuse me. I really thought a U.S. Factory AE guy for sure woulda made it, cuz' they're always tough to beat. Those Euro/Asian guys can wheel!

Actually, from what I hear... the track got hot at times with I would imagine it being slick. So to combat this, he wanted the chassis to flex alittle more. Kinda like Easton and the SSG SD instead of the SDW. More flex for more traction.

I also picked up the FT blocks and everybody at my track said go to the 2.0 rear block because the car has way too much toe out of the box... the only thing my track didn't have was sway bars.... they said they should be in next week I will put the car together and practice with it next week and let you guys know... but so far this car major @$$!!!!
Jay...
I should see you during the week. I hopefully talked my mom into letting me go on Monday and Thursday. I could REALLY use the practice...

I tried the Hard Anodized shocks lastnight. They felt a lot smoother than the originals. Jim was having his seals blowing out of his Hard Anodized shocks, so he ended up running the shocks that were on his TC3. Mine were working just fine, absolutely no complaints here.

I too ran the full carbon kit, and the car responded more directly than ever before. I also tried the 4 'C' carriers, and took out a degree of kickup. The car felt great, but with a DNF in the first round(motor problems), and being taken out on the first lap in the second round(passing for the lead, spun into a poll, fell back to last place, a lap down...), I qualified second to last in the B-Main. Well, still couldn't get a clean run in the Main, Motor problems AGAIN plagued my car, causing yet another DNF...

Side Note: I don't appreciate standing on the driver's stand, next to someone cursing at another driver because they bumped into him. I mean, come on dude, they're toy cars, and mostlikely it was on accident. You don't have to curse.

With regard to my previous post asking for information on whether Associated was going to make any lightened metal outdrives as seen on Baker's car at the worlds:

Stormer Hobbies has "Associated, TC4 DIFF OUTDRIVES, lightened steel" listed as "on order" for $14.95.

I use to do that but after seeing a few others do it I immediately saw it makes you look like a real D.A. We're supposed to have fun out there and if I wanted to cuss someone out I could do it for a heck of a lot cheaper & have more fun doing it elsewhere.

Yup!

the TC4 was the only tub chassis car in the top ten. All the rest were double deckers. Was the tub too stiff for conditions? Maybe. That said, i'm suprised XRay didn't make it.
