A 25t pinion with the stock 72t spur should be fine with a 6.5t motor....

I'm just curious can the stock plastic TC4 handle a 3.5 motor on asphalt?

Do you have to mod the drivetrain?

How does a shaft car drive with all that power any torque steer?

To run a 3.5t, you'll need at least an aluminum spur gear adapter, aluminum input cups, CF or Titanium driveshaft, spool/LCD up front, and aluminum or steel rear diff outdrives.... The other even more important piece is a parma wide bumper+ grinding your axle stubs ....

Just drop in a set of NTC3 universals F/R and have at it. The stock composite drive shafts won't put up with the power.
You may need to upgrade the diff out-drives to something harder and I would think a front diff would be better to keep the drive-train stress down.

I was watching the fast guys today at our local track run boosted 3.5
I was getting addicted by just watching them run on this huge nice track.
