On road newbie question:

Does anyone run a one-way on your tub TC4?

Also will the TC6 DCJ's from RSD work on the TC4?

If not I wonder if RSD will make some since the TC4 is becoming popular again.

Thx...

At the end of the axles and dogbones, there is a pin and hole system that needs to match. Maybe some sanding of the pin might be necessary, although I've never encountered that problem before. I did get suspicious of these pins once, but after cutting the heatshrink the drive went back to normal...

Rsd dcj's for the tc6 work with 5mm ID Bearings only... The tc4 Bearings have 4.76mm ID... It won't be a direct fit. You'll need 5mm ID Bearings with 3/8 OD...

I have a mint TC4 1 race day on it! It has been on a shelf for a while!
just bought a carbon drive shaft for it, new body, and put in a Tekin gen2 9.5
what is base gearing for this setup on 2s lipo
parking lot cement
also, I took off the 4 blue aluminum post in the 4 corners from top deck to bottom deck
what about the center brace carbon fiber plate? and do you run all screws on the center stiffener top bottom and sides?

I don't have any of the posts or spline installed in my car and I cut the top deck down and made it flex more

I also took off the 4 blue aluminum posts, but kept the center spline with all its screws. On cement, tire and tire treatment makes a huge difference.
As far as gearing, I would start at 7.0FDR , and see what that does...

along the lines of what you are saying, my mistake was I emptied the DCJ joint pins along with axle hex pin into the same bowl, they look exactly the same but are listed as having different diameters...maybe that's my problem, nevertheless the tiny ball on the bone and the recess on axle which I was referring to fit together awfully.

They are both good on all surfaces... The CF is just a bit lighter, and has an upper deck for more tunability..

Lots of guys at my track, including myself, like the Savox 1251MG in their TCs. A nice, quick, low-profile, reasonably priced servo. I picked mine up at my LHS for $54.
