Losi no longer makes those driveshafts. Does anyone make double jointed CVD's for the TC4?

In my limited experience, neither my TC4 nor TC6 feels the strain because of normal joints simply due to my setup running less total steering throw. Both chatter under no load when the steering is at full lock, but it never gets there during the run. It might not be worth it. Unless you want the car to turn an 18" turning circle.

I gotta question.

Anyone found smaller diameter wheel nuts for the TC4? Some wheels are hard to use with that big wheel nut.

Well considering your motor will be spinning at over 52000 rpm, I would have to say your mph = more than you or th car for that matter can handle. With that in mind I would say a fan is not needed on a car that is in pieces from hitting, well, anything. But if you really want a fan since your running 3s, get a good 12volt PCU fan and find a way to mount it to you car over the motor wired directly the the +/- on the esc.

If you really want to know estimated speed, calulate your rollout, multiply that by rpm, then do an inche to mile conversion and there you have it. example rollout = 2in per 1 motor rotation 52000 rpm = 104000 inches per minute = 6240000 inches per hour. There are 63360 inches in a mile so that would equal 98.5 mph.

Good luck, I hope you have a back-up car or a lot of spare parts

52000 rpm is nothing for the tc4... It can handle whatever motor you put in it buddy.... With the correct gearing(7.1fdr++) , you can reach 50+mph , but you should never run your Car past the six minute mark... Have fun...

I also had similar issues with my wheel nuts, but I sanded the outside of the wheel wrench enough so it could fit these wheels...

Have seen 8/32 nuts with 7mm hex on ebay but cant find them now.

I just run a 8/32 tap through metric 4mm wheel nuts.

I started to reverse the nut so the nylon part goes on first. It gives the wrench more surface area to bite on.

Six Minutes is the max amount of time allowed to race... If you're bashing, run it until it blows.....

What parts are needed to make the tub version into the FT? I suppose you have to buy them individually as I can't find the upgrade kit anywhere.
