We don't have a VTA class so it will run stock. Might even run it at the IIC if it's fast enough.

This is my Diggity Designs DC4 LE #10 just about ready for a shakedown run. The build was uneventful and clean, quite a lot of drivetrain lash but that's not DD's fault.

will love to hear how it does. Couldn't the drivetrain lash be corrected by making some changes?

Looks good... except that on/off switch look like a good place to burn your finger after a race.

Most of the lash can be worked around, some shims and such that I don't have, but outdrives and such are still a bit worn. I need to get some new ones, steel instead of aluminum.

Well, with the heavy Reedy pack, heavy Novak ESC, big Spektrum receiver, metal gear servo, and a thick gauge body, it doesn't exactly float in. It's just a hair under legal weight, 1370g. That's after replacing a good portion of the kit steel screws with titanium that I had lying around.

Basically cant get around that big pack. If I swapped the 7000 for a 5000 or a 4300 shorty I could save at lot.

For a tc4 upgrade, that is very light considering that 310+ gram pack. That would mean the Car weighs in at around 1060 grams without the pack and with heavy electronics and body.... With light electronics and body, it can get down to 1020grams... The lightest I got my Fttc4 to weigh with novak electronics and standard servo and no battery is 1212grams. That's 152grams more than the DC4 LE with heavy stuff, and possibly 192grams more if the dc4 has light electronics... I run my Ft tc4 with a 208gram pack to keep the weight down a bit, but if you put my pack in your dc4 le you'll weigh in at 1268grams..... That's light for a tc4 buddy...

By the way, I run a TP3300 65C pack in my 13.5t and 17.5t tc4's ....

I dare to say that the dc4 le is superfast , when considering its lightness...

You guys also got to consider that if you use only lightweight Parts, it will be even lighter... By lightweight Parts, I mean: carbon driveshafts, aluminum input shafts, ceramic Bearings, titanium axles(rear), lightweight spur gear and pinion gear, lightweight aluminum front spool, losi lcd drives(#losa3344) in front, rpm ballcups, etc......

@bertands, how much was street price for the kit? What was included in the kit?

I did not buy the kit... I am only going by the info desert provided versus the regular tc4's I own... The dc4 le is supposed to be around $200 , and looks like it's worth every penny if you want to updrade your tub tc4 to a modern racer, and not shell $650 for a T4 or $922 for an Awesomatix....lol.... It should start winning soon for sure..
