they can price it at whatever they want.... would be nice if it were less than a kit, but if they need to get $200 out of it to be worth it, because of the machining costs etc, I doubt they'll come down much if at all

The old xlr8v1 and v2 had alot more machined parts for less than $200.... They had more than twice the parts for $150.... I think this current kit should be like $80 or so, but that's me.....just sayin....

I hope someone would test it against the newer types of cars... It's the only carbon fiber tc4 available on the market now, so it won't be cheap, but to get a carbon fiber kit for $350 is not the worst out there..... Let's hope diggity design will let us know how it performs in their test lab....

The other side of that is if the chassis' alone are $65, those other parts would put it over $80 really easily, maybe the machining costs have gone up, maybe better materials or the material costs have gone up, just guesses, I think it's sell better priced lower as well, but if you can sell 50 and make the same money as selling 100 for your price of 80-100, it makes business sense, the market is there

There's not a whole lot of (current if any) shaft drive cars out there anymore. I think shaft drive cars will be making a comeback for spec racing.

This appears to be a nice update for an older chassis. Your TC4 will
have a floating servo!! Thats sweet! If I had the cash I would purchase one for sure.

The kit is a little expensive but might be worth it on the track....
Who knows....

I wish we could put gear diffs in our TC4's.

If the kit came with gear diffs it would have soldout in one hour.... I guess the Awesomatix did more for the return of shaftdrive than I thought, or was it VTA ??? In any case, the DC4 LE will elevate the Tc4 Club racer to the 17.5/13.5 level for sure, without having to worry too much about overweight issues...

Anyone have a good TC4 club racer setup for VTA on med-high bite 75' x 40' track. I'm looking to use either a REEDY 4600 shorty pack or a standard REEDY 5000 wolf pack. I put the blue drive shafts on the front of the car and TC6.1 shocks on the car already but no other mods.

That conversion looks awesome. You could always use converted Durango diffs in the TC4. I think this would work although then you end up with a pretty expensive car.

Knowing how many Club Racers are out there, I think they could sell far more than 50 units.

Default hollow carbon shafts

Does anyone know if the carbon shafts from yokomo could be used in the tc4?
Ive contacted whip racing and according to them..those hollow carbon shafts are no longer in production due to low demands.
Does anyone know if there is any 3rd party companies tht make em carbon shafts for the tc4 ??
