Yes, with a little TLC. I was no more than a tenth off in lap times all last night compared to my friend's 2012 XRAY (medium bite carpet) in 17.5.........

Would I do a competitive event? Nope....... but club racing is a blast. Got 2nd last night, and sitting in 3rd for our little points series.

On my TC4, in the rear I've got a square forward arm mount and a X-2.5 rear arm mount.

What toe-in does that give ?

I'm setting it up for a Vintage oval class that our track runs -- if I wanted zero degree rear toe, then what combination of arm mounts do I need to use ??

Thanks

Anybody ??

The c/f rear shock tower seems to be one of the hardest parts to track down now. Plenty of front towers out their but not a single rear.

I'm considering the TC4 for touring and drifting racing.
Can it handle the power of a 7000KV motor?

What problems should i expect from this car?

What are the main differences of the FT version and RTR version?

What upgrades do i need to make in order to be competitive with it against higher end cars like T3, cyclone...

The FT TC4 drive line is bullet proof.

The FT version is very competitive (pending weight) it comes with just about everything you need except different spring rates and shock oils.

I would recomend a front spool which you could switch to the rear for drifting.

The only down side to this car IMO compared with the latest offerings is the weight as it is hard to get the car much below 1500g which was the minimum weight of the day.

The ITF chassi is thinner and lighter, which would be a good option and a fairly light Lipo.

Is the weight a serious factor of it's ability to win other cars?
I mean does it show it's weight in the race?

I've read reviews of the TC3 and some can still remember the lap times it did in some races which were phenomenal back then.

Well in stock classes the weight is a factor mostly in accelleration, it also adds a little tyre wear ect.

In MOD this would be much less of a concern.

It also depens on where you race, I doubt a TC4 would cut it at the nats but for club racing it is fine.

I am still running my FT TC4 after 5 years and until very recently have never needed to update to be competitive. With the reduced weight age of the car a new car is on the cards for next year.
