1. Parma front bumper, and also I found myself breaking a lot of C-hubs, so I have aftermarket aluminum ones(Idk where they're from) and that fixed a lot of problems.
2. I've just been using thin strips of gorilla tape. Just because I haven't found some real tape. It works...
3. Amain, Tower, any of the big names. Though I can only talk for rubber, Idk about foams. Plus I get most my tires at my lhs.
4. Really depends on the tracks you go to. I've found that TakeOff CS27s are among the best for me. It may be different for you.

Run the solid axle in the front when using rubber tires, you will never get the car to flip fast enough with a diff, Dave W posted a good hop up on making a slipper spool which will work good as well. If your running foams then you can use a diff as you will have gobs of steering and traction. On a small tight track leave the one way at home, it is better suited for a long flowing track as they don't react very well to heavy braking.
No, Either PRS, Kimbrough, or Robinson racing spur gears will work with the TC4
1. A good bumper and steel diffs, Thats pretty much it. You will wear more parts out with a good bumper than you will break, I guarantee it. If anything pick up an extra steering rack or two, it will be the most fragile bit when you have a good bumper, like the Parma.
2. The factory battery strap works great.
3.RcBoyz or your local hobby shop.
4. Sweeps, they make many compounds for all different onroad racing applications. I don't run foams can't help much there.

Hi all.
I picked up a used FT TC4 that needs a little work and would appreciate any info you might have to share.
1. Any up grades recommended ?
2. What are you using for a battery tie down ?
3 Where is a good place to order wheels/tires from, both rubber and foam ?
4. Recommended tires for asphalt and carpet ?

Now I need to move the rear body mounts in some ( closer together ) They are about 4 1/4 inches apart now.

The only ways I can think of doing it would be either-
1- Unscrew your body posts, and dremel off the notch on each
2- A) screw it back in the same hole and be able to twist it about or
B) Screw it back into the top hole of your shocks (if you need them even closer)
Probably not the best of ideas, just brainstorming.

Thinking about getting a piece of 1/2" aluminum angle. Drilling it to fit the two most inner shock mount holes and drilling it for aftermarket body mount posts....

i need to remove some wieght from my tc4...i worried i might mess up balance or strenth of the chassis...it running really good but i think the weight is holding me back......most ppl are running 1400 to 1420....my car is @ 1500 to 1550
