I run a front and rear swaybar on my Jammin. The thicker the sway bar, the less steering you will have (less weight transfer from side to side). I haven't tried to drive it without a sway bar on the front yet, but i haven't had much time to actually make it to the track and test.

tighten it all the way till it just bottoms (be careful here cause too much can strip the t-nut) then there are a couple of ways to set the diff. the manual suggests ~ 1/2 turn out as a starting point...

i'll give my personal suggestion. it's a little wasteful but it works... i have the rear end of a tub car setup just to check diffs... it works the same as using the rear transmission... just put the diff in and close the case, have wheels on the rear... grab the left wheel ( for steel diffs) with your left hand and put your left thumb on the spur gear. then use your right hand to try to turn the the right wheel... don't crank hard, just grab the wheel with your fingers and twist... if the diff is set right it should not slip... (i usually twist with two fingers to set for my preference, this part comes from experience and doing the adjustment enough times to know how you want your diff to feel) from here you can adjust for a smoother diff or a tighter diff depending on preference, the easy way to do this is to remove the right wheel and detach the upper camberlink... the rear hub will swivel out of the way for easy access to the diff screw... repeat as necessary...

Default 3.5 Brushless in TC 4 Speed?

I am planning on putting a 3.5 Novak brushless system in my TC 4 and changing to metal outdrives. What kind of top speed will I be looking at and what other changes should I make. I will of course put the GTX ESC in as well. Any advice will be helpful.

top speed is relative to your gearing as well as the quality of your battery packs and the amount of traction your tire/surface combination...

that being said a 3.5 geared correctly should easily be in the 40-50mph range straight line...

Default Correct Gearing

What gearing would you reccomend for that setup. I have a TC4 that I can race, I was just trying to build a speed demon. I may end up taking the add-0ns off and putting them in the TC5 when it comes out. I am prety new when it comes to diffs and gearing and so forth!

Speed Demon TC4?, Try using a final drive ratio of 7.0 - 8.0? that should blow your socks off You will not be able to run it more than a few minutes at a time with that gearing but it will be plenty fast.

Guys I'm trying to find a place, hobbyshop preferably, that has a supply of the carbon rear arms, I believe part number is AS31009.

I just installed my last spare one and would like to stock up on them while they should be still available.
Other requirement would be post internationally.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the quick reply, they are the cheapest I have seen so far, I'm just hoping there is somewhere locally first before ordering from there, I can;t really justify the postage for the few parts I need at the moment

Have you tried Kellots Hobbies or Ace Hobbies (same company, one is retail and the other is distributor - for AE in Australia). They are located in Sydney and are very helpful. Ask to speak with Steve Burgess or Gary Kellot. Otherwise, I know that Trackside RC (in Brisbane) also has stock of TC4/TC3 parts. Ask to speak with Jeff Hamon.

Hope this helps.

Leonard.
