The tub tc4 chassis has them on the chassis braces.
A note however on the shock towers, we glue the tower to the mount so you don't have to worry about it moving on a big wreck.

Couple of questions for you guys.
1) I sold my ft tc4 about 4 months ago because I got an x-ray t2. Now, I am going to be (hopefully) running two classes in touring car this fall/winter. Spec 19, and stock. I have a team tc4 and the x-ray t2. Which should I run in what category, and what chassis should I get for the team tc4? Track is about 60'x45', high bite ozite.

2) Currently I am just running my team tc4 on asphalt. Just trying to see how fast I can get it. We have a radar gun, and it is kind of a side thing at our offroad track. Anyways, I have a reedy ti worlds 7d, gtx speedo and I run gp3700's (1.20). I need to beat 45mph, is it possible with this setup? What type of gear ratio can I use? How much heat can the motor take? I am using rubber tires.

I would say TC4 in stock, as the drivetrain is very efficient, with the T2 in 19t as it is a little more forgiving.

As for the second one it would be possible, there is a speed calculator over at www.rcracer.com.au on this thread

http://www.rcracer.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4709

just feed in some details and it will help you figure out your top speed

Default TC4 Upgrade Kit ???

I'm looking at getting a new car. I saw the prices of a team / FT kits. Saw the AE comparison. And I've noticed that there is an upgrade kit.

So my question, what would I not get if I go the team - > Upgrade kit FT as opposed to a Straight FT kit ? The biggest missing piece (from what I can tell) would be the Ti Turnbuckles. But the biggest plus would be the the two chassis types, and not throwing my money away on upgraded bearings when i'm getting a bearing kit.

Thanks for any thoughts

C

Default Lax...

What kind of racing do you plan on doing? Asphalt or carpet?

IMO the FT is better suited for carpet and the Team "tub-style" car is better suited for asphalt.

I have raced both on asphalt and find that the "tub-style" is more consistant for my driving style.

The AE car is a great car either way you go...easy to setup and the LHS's can get parts easily...

Actually a little bit of both. Its late in the summer season. I'm hoping to be ready for the fall / winter. There are two indoor places around here that i've heard of one has carpet and the other has asphalt.

Its funny, the price diffrence of the team upgrade and the FT kit, is a dollar.

So I'm going to spend the money no matter what, but which will be more fun to wrench on ??? and which can I make more my own. Which makes me lean more to the upgrade route.

In my own experience with both, the Team is easier to work on then the FT.

Okay, after the wreck I had recently I have been having problems with my steering. It's like the servo won't go back to center. At first I thought it was the servo. We'll today I bought a new servo and it is still doing the same thing. Take a look at the video and you'll see the problem. Let me know what you guys think I should try.

check the screw in the servo saver, it could be rubbing on the chassis
