If you are looking for aluminum ballstuds, Associated part #4447, they are also blue. They are mainly used for 1/12 th scale and 1/10th oval cars.

I just picked up a ft tc4 and holy crap is this car fast.
I ran a jrx-s all last season in 19t spec but I dont think it compares in acceleration to the tc4.
I think I'm in love..

#4447 is not a usual upgrade for the NTC3... as Walter said its more of a FT upgrade for 1/12th and 1/10th oval cars where small amount of weight make a bigger difference.

as for durability, the steel counterpart to aluminum will in all cases be more durable if the part is of the same dimension and design....

The TC4 has an "adjustable" suspension. Not sure what anyone would want to adjust that it doesn't already have.

Default what are these "dogbone spacers" for?

Okay I'm hoping this isn't too stupid of a question, feel free to make fun of me if it is - but I bought myself the AE lightened steel outdrives and have installed them in my TC4. However I'm sort of confused by these two extra parts I have from the process...

...pictured above is the AE parts bag #6575 which was listed as being "required" by AE to install the steel differential outdrives. I figured out where the two white nylon parts went through trial and error and reading the PDF manual for the Factory Team TC3. However the two black parts, which I think are called "dogbone spacers", I don't know what to do with. Did I miss something? Are they perhaps only used on one of the other AE cars which this parts bag is used with?

you are correct. the dogbone spacers are for use with the b3/t3 offroad vehicles to keep the dogbones from having the room to fall out. with svds these are unecessary and uncessary for the TC4.

No, you adjust the current adjustable suspension to get better cornering or any other property you wish. The manual has some good explanations of what the different tuning options do or you can read this:
