Need some opinions before shopping.

TC4 is a lost cause indoors. It simply does not function in the same manner as the inline belt cars. Indoors on carpet it is at a disadvantage. I hate to say so but believe the hype, get an XRay or a Corally for indoor carpet.

Outdoors on rubber and asphalt, it has a much better chance as do all the shaft cars.

The TC4 is a good car. I think that in order to make it fast you have to set it up so that it's very hairy to drive.

Ever since I switched I have been much faster.

Do you get wide turns on your FT TC4?

I drove a BMI car not a FT car. They are similar but the BMI seems to be a lot more aggressive due to the shifted batteries, electronics...etc. My TC4 would turn on a dime...it was never an issue. I ran it mostly on carpet.

This was my starting setup:

Front
70 wt losi oil
2 piston
purple springs
inside on arm
2nd hole out on tower (laid down)
camber - 2nd hole out silver ball stud no washers
4 deg castor
5mm ride height
droop - 2mm over ride height
steering rack - silver ball studs no washers
2 shims in front of arms
no shims under blocks
thickest sway bar
Double Pink/Orange

Rear
60 wt losi oil
2 piston
copper spring
outside on arm
2nd hole out on tower (laid down)
camber - 2nd hole out silver ball stud no washers
Losi XXXS Zero deg hubs inside on hub no washers
no washers under blocks
5 mm ride height
droop - 2 mm over ride height
double pink

no sway bar (this made a huge difference)
BMI Chassis/top deck/ motor mount
Team Express C2 (19T) geared 35-104
Team Express IB3800's
Parma Alfa

Bob: So you start with running the hinge pins flat? That almost seems to simple.

Well I run for Schumacher now thats what I meant by "was"....I actually like the EC better. As far as pics no I don't but all you have to do is pull out all the spacers under the hinge pins blocks.

OH oops...hehe.

Yeah the mount was dialed too. You do have to use alot of shims though becasue of the inconsistancies of the AE gear boxes. Not really a big deal.
