On my Factory there are servo mounts, but you have to cut the top of the servo on the left side, so it doesnt hit the drive shaft. I used wire cutters for it.

I will take some pics tonight if nobody else does first.

Did you read the directions? There is some cutting and shimming that is needed!

ftc4 should be here either 2day or 2mrw. would like advice on somethin surely hashed over many times. just too sick right now to read thru all the pages in this thread, looked some @ AE's site but like some insight.

indoor asphalt, very smooth and maintained, high grip (often treated). very tight course w/long straight and long radius last turn.

have cs27s and 32s (this track is even hurtin them and i dont have the budget for tires others do). couple friends w/other cars have noticed good manners and longevity with RP36/40s. but main question of course is this. what (short of the manual) is a good 'baseline' setup for this FTC4. i have access to a board if need be. have some preconceived notions bout what is needed but i'm still too new to onroad.

all help is appreciated, aplogies up front for not searchin more. i'm really tired, so i'll stop here thx.

start with this... your track sounds similar to what we have here at socal raceway... high grip indoor asphalt...

I am running FT TC4 that is 100% as it came out of the box. I want to know how to remove ackerman. I want to do this to increase corner speed. Not sure if tis the right way to go but I want to try. Could I retrofit the TC3 rack or is there a part out there to reduce ackerman? I think I need to lengthen the tie rods to do this, not sure though.

Suggestions.

Barry Baker's Vegas setup is what I am using and the two degree caster really wakes up the car in my opinion.

for less ackerman make sure you are using the outside holes on the steering blocks. have 2-3 .030" washers for bump steer, and maybe shim the rack ballstuds so they are closer to parallel...

Damn and I just sold my FT two weeks ago. This might of been a nice addition to the car.

2 days of running on the ITF chassis kit... with the same setup the car feels more consistent and stable. need more days to get a better accessment but my current feeling is that its a nice option for running on asphalt.
