Some guys are using Niftech and adding a little Paragon to it. Seems to work better. You cannot smell the Paragon.

Adding Paragon helps, but it still doesn't work as well as straight Paragon. Paragon is the best by far, doesn't hurt the tires, doesn't hurt the track, and isn't any more harmful to breathe than any of the others, the only difference is that the smell lingers.

As of right now, the VCS2 Shck upgrade kit and the battery brace for the FT TC4 are only available directly from Associated. They sell to the general public (as ling as you do not mind paying retail ). I tried to get them from my LHS but Great Planes and Horizon (distributers for Associated in America) said they could not order them because Assocaited had not yet released the part numbers to them.

In 1/1 cars... Honda baby. There are few "american" cars that can compete on the track/street OR in the parts department with this manufacturer. Dedication. Racing heritage. Nuff said.

For some reason, my cvd keeps popping out from the diff housing whenever i tap a pipe. Its not a major hit, It just pops out. Nothing is broken, ive tried shimming the cvd so it goes farther into the diff housing and it hasnt helped. Any ideas?

I've had that same problem before.

For some reason, the cvds don't go in equally on both sides on the TC4 as opposed to the TC3. First off, check how damaged the outdrive is, it may just have to be replaced. In a crash, the plastic outdirves may flex enough to pop the cvd out.

Is this comming from the front diff housing? My reccomendation is to first, replace the plastic outdrives. If that doesn't work, just get the Steel or Lightened Steel outdirve halves from Associated. I have them and NEVER had a problem with them.

Plastic outdrives. I'm cheap so I tried to get them to work too

Make sure the bottom of your steering knuckle isn't broken either. That happened to me with aluminum outdrives once. Looked like nothing was wrong but the knuckle was broken.

Make sure your droop is set right as it might be over extending and pulling out of the diff housing! Seaking of droop i just wanted to mention something that i got stung by once . When built my shocks and put the end on the shaft i tightened it up the shaft too much . what happens is that the shock lenght is too short and doesn't let the arm droop enough or to the desired droop setting .if this happens just unscrew the shock bottom 1 -2 turns just enough to let the drroop screw do its job. this might be why some people might not like the way the car feels as droop is not working correctly! Droop is a very important adjustment in a TouringCar.
