What have some of you guys done to try and get rid of the chatter from the front CVD's when the wheels are full lock?

Don't drive full lock. The car doesn't need it.

DODGEGUY: IMR is right, you shouldnt need full lock to get the car around the track. You can also add some synthetic 0-5W30 oil... a drop to each joint of each CVD, and it will help with the noise, and keep the parts in better shape. Use a synthetic, regular oil/grease will not last as long.

Default Is this roar legal

I have converted my motor wiring to this. Is this okay?
It's easier to service the motors during a race.

I have not connected the bullet connectors and slid the wire thru so you can see.

Also, im guessing that was you phoning me half a dozen times on Monday lunchtime, wasnt going to get up to answer it because i had a nasty migraine and didnt recognise the phone number (guessing its a PDQ line?).

Any chance of you getting hold of a AE Triangle alum block from Morley for a good price? Got the Circle, Square, 2.5 & 3.0 ones coming from the states today (5 each, bargin!) but the Triangle wasnt in stock and i already have the 2.0 one.
Anyway, cya at Wirral in 10 days, gonna pester you about those 3800s also, was hoping to have a pack of eXpress cells to try over the winter but not heard from them about that.
Sorry it took so long to reply didnt even realise you had put anything up here.

Went to Morley to see if he has the block you want but they dont have it in stock.

With the Tamiaya Shockers there is another mod you can do that is even better but il run through that with you at wirrel mate.

The IB3800 are awsome and a big thanks goes out there to Colin at CS-Racing and also EA Motorsports.

Can I just jump in here and ask how everyone likes the FT so far as compared to the other top cars out now? I am using a XXXSG still and need a car designed for the new batteries and stock racing with foams on carpet, primarily. What are the cars strenghts (handling/tuning/durability) and weaknesses as well. Thanks...

Hey Nick,

Think i might know of 2 tips from the grinch already, but i'll be all ears come sunday anyway.

I should be able to get the triangle blocks fairly soon anyway so dont worry bout it, its a light item so its not going to cost much to have it shipped over, could probably ship it 2-3 day and have the total cost come under the UK price anyway esp as it cant be taxed as its under 16 value.

Also, i thought the cells were br00d powah, either of them should be top draw anyway.

I've been very happy running a 100 tooth spur on mine, seems good all-around for both stock & 19 turn, & while the fit for it is VERY tight, it does fit without rubbing anything(& I know why you asked that because it will be VERY hard to change out if you don't like it, or if it strips)....

LOTUS1: Im assuming you are running foams, and if so, pinion choice will vary greatly with tire/track size. If you choose a 100 tooth spur (64 pitch) for stock class (Monster Stock motor), you can run a pinion from 30-36 to start. 19T (C2 locked endbell) is geared a little higher than stock, in GENERAL, 2 teeth (64pitch) more than a stock motor. There are alot of variations with gearing, its always best to ask local racers first, then start on the lowside and work your way up.

A roll out of 1.0 is a good starting point on the Monster. If you are running IB's you may need to adjust for the extra voltage.
