Can we use an O-ring? Or its just better with out it?
and
What if we maintain the foam and use the bladder and yokomo caps? or maintain the foan and just use the yoke caps?

Not very much, but enough to loose the rear sometimes.

19t motor
front copper spring
rear gold spring
40 wt around
1,5° camber front
1,75° camber rear
0° toe in/out front
3° toe in rear
4° caster
no one-way or spool.

camber links as in the manual.

Please setup tips with the standard pieces, so no ultra design changes.

Thanks alot!
I would go to a stiffer spring in front.

A oneway on carpet? I thought that was a big no no.

Default New FTTC4

Hey Guys, just got a great birthday gift of a new FTTC4, what a great wife I have.
Any way how much sanding or file do I need to do and to what?

Is there some things I need to do in my build that the directions do not say?

The kit carpet set up is kind of close to Mike B's winning Snow Birds. Will
Mike's set up work on med to high grip carpet with the FTTC4?

Thanks for the answers.
God Bless

You should be fine with a stock motor. I run mine with a one-way when I run stock if I don't I will get my ass handed to me because eveyone else is.

Who is running the TC4 in the 2005 International Indoor Championships @ Las Vegas besides Baker? I am curious how the car and driver finished in that race.

Jsaves: As with any carbon chassis. File the battery slots to get battery to sit lower, and also keep them from gettin cut by the carbon. Take some sand paper and sand the slot where the tape will go. Try to make this a round as possible where the tape will be going through the chassis. If not, the tape will be cut in the event of a crash.

Default FT TC4 & BMI TC4 Performance Comparison

Hi, I do not intend to start any flame war here or anything, this is purely an inquiry. For those who have had the BMI TC4 and got the chance to own the new FT TC4, any similarities/differences in handling? Which car is more dialed/spot on (considering both chassis have the same settings)? They new TC4 looks really nice and I was wondering if it also has high praises in the handling department. I used to run a BMI TC4 and I really liked it alot, I had to give it up for a JRXS and now, when the TC4 came out, I don't mind owning a shaft car again. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Default Similar problem with the Parma bumper

Thanks Bob Barry) I replaced the stock bumper with a p-dub bumper and I have put it through its paces. I have "used" the bumper so much that it has compresed (what can I say . . .I am a rookie). With the steering turned 100% either way just the outside third of the foam rubs the foam bumper. I didn't notice because I ran rubber tires with the p-dub bumper one time and there was already wear marks on the bumper. You may have to simulate this on your car to get what happened. Thanks for all the thoughtful replys. I am hoping to gain some corner speed once I remove the bumper. I also am hoping to gain some speed with this new set up. I will keep y'all posted.

Andrew
Your post was quite helpful. I recently installed a Parma bumper for better protection and just noticed exactly the same thing with wear marks on the inside of the bumper where the tires are rubbing. A quick appointment with Dr. Xacto has cured the condition ;-)
