They need to be the same length when compared side to side. They also should have the same rebound rate. Shock length is not a tuning aid that I'm aware of.

it limits the amount of up travel....lengthen the shock to allow more shock travel, shorten it (or put orings on the shaft) to limit travel.

Default Factory Team TC4

Has it been announced when the new Factory Team TC4 is going to be released? I am thinking of getting my first touring car, but if it does not come out soon I may be getting a JRX-S.

Its posted above that the release date is still unknown other than it is going to happen fairly soon.

to make the tc4 to have a safe secure way to use strapping tape do you have to make ur own slots? In the pic you can see the driver made a slot in one of the battery slots.

I cut the slot in the front part (cut out the battery hold-down piece and then the slot) and am just using the back battery slot - I rounded the edge where the tape rolls over so it won't cut.

We can use droop screws on the TC4 to limit the droop so we don't have to worry about the length of the shocks, just as long as the shocks are the same length side to side it doesn't matter

DDBadger. I would get the TC4 over the losi. You will like the shaft drive over the belt. Ive run several belts and they are good at first but get goofy in time. Besides , by the time you are as fast as what the TC4 can run there will be a kit available to update the TC4 to the factory team. The TC4 is one of the fastest cars out there. Add to that the TC4 is easier to get parts for. I like Losi for their trucks but when it comes to sedans, Associated has it down.
