Whatever was stock. I don't remember right now (setup sheet is at home in the garage. . .oops) but I do know that I went back to stock and the car was much more tunable.

((I had started out with a "hooked" setup from someone else and I just didn't like it. . .went back to stock and started over.)

Ok, just got me a TC4, is there any things i should pay extra attention to when i build it? any small tricks? have been racing the TC3 in the past and do miss it, so the tc4 was a natural choice
only thing i have ordered for it so far is the yokomo shock caps.

Well guys my first run with the TC4 was this weekend. I must say coming from a belt car (Mi2) this was quite a change. I thought that the car was pretty good. My setup needs some work still but I felt faster and more confident than I did with my Mi2. After I do some more testing I will post a set up on here. I think the first thing I am going to try is 35 wt 2 pistons and silver springs all the way around. I have a feeling this car likes soft setups. I will keep you posted!

... I think the hardest springs that I have gone too with the TC4 is Gold up front and Blue in the Rear on a very High grip asphalt track.. with 40W front and 30W in the rear..

ive gone red front gold rear...on carpet with sorex 20r's..thats with 40wt F+R

it works really well..no lack of grip and still plenty of steering, i think i could go to red/red and it would still be fine.

saying that, even you US foamy guys seem to be running red/gold...i usually run yellow/purple on foams....maybe its just my driving style

I ran on CS27's blue spring 60wt and 2 pistons all the way around. front shocks outside on arm and tower rear shocks second hole from outside on tower, outside on arm(i think i dont remember) no sway bars. diff in front. Camber Links were front 1 hole away from center with no washers, rear all the way in with 1 washer.

The car would probably be better with like 30 - 40 wt and maybe swaybars. Over all it was still pretty good with a slight push.

I bet your right on the lighter oil setup and maybe some light sways. Sounds like you had a good day though. Also you had fun which always is welcome since that is normally why we race.
