This is what Tony said...."We COULD say you copied our layout for the holes in the chassis to mount the gearboxes...the servo...the arm mounts."

But he didn't...

I wasn't told anything. This is from personal experience. My 3300's fit perfectly. My 3700's do not sit right in the chassis. The diameter of 3700's is just a little bit bigger than the 3300's. If you use the Factory Team battery spacer (a hollow tube the same size as a cell) the 3700's will not fit. When I run my 3700's I use the foam spacer and raise the battery strap slightly. I could grind away the battery slots, but I'm spending my time on my nitro cars.

losi jon,i dont remember asking for your oppinion.you seem to be so interested in this new car but not a few weeks ago you were saying that the tub is the way to go and now your gung ho double deck car.i would like if you would worry about yourself and not chime in on a simple request from me to another.it has nothing to do with you and i dont know why i am trying to clear this up with you.if you want to try to win brownie points with someone, remeber that it usually makes you look like a kiss a$$ and all respect for you is lost.im sure tony doesnt need you answering for him being that he already did so.

After going from a TC4 to several tamiya's i am back with another tc4.

Does anybody have a good high bite asphalt (tight layout) setup for the car? Most of the guys set their cars up really soft and we are running CS32's. thanks

Does anybody know the mm. of the new FT chassis, and do you think its better for carpet foams then the tub?

Thanks

The chassis is 2.5mm i believe. and i would say its excellent for both carpet/asphalt. But im going to run the ft carbon fiber kit for carpet, because im more of a carpet guy than asphalt.

Go back a little bit and I posted mine. I run at SoCal and that setup was REALLY good. It wasn't as good last night, but then the track was completely different - I still used it as a baseline though. I was also running on CRAP tires - but since I'll be taking a month off, I didn't feel like buying new tires for one night. . .
