Which version of the TC4 are the AE drivers using at the Reedy Race?

From the pictures that I have seen posted by Shane they are running the new Factory Team TC4.

Time will tell how the car works, but flagship cars should be just that; the best. I don't care if the molds need to fit the RTRs, etc. I want the best working, best performing. After all there are other companies that don't pull punches because of other cars in the line up. Maybe you'll pay more in the beginning with other cars, but you'll save money in the long run not chasing set ups and speed. We'll see. I guess I'm not the most optimistic person out there, looks kind of a boring design on the flagship car.

Barry didnt run well and his car didnt look hooked up compared to other cars on the track. Is Barry getting worse with age or does this car just not work as well as others? I have FT TC3 but I just havent reeally seen a TC4 really run that well. At least not well enough to justify buying one over another brand. At Reedy the belt drives are just dominating.

No one can expect an AE sweep with a brand new car on its first real trial, if indeed the FT is being run. We saw the inconsisancy between drivers with the TC4 in October at the Worlds. Tamiya owns the track and that is where the 415 was born - it is to be expected it do better than the rest of the field not to metion it is one hell of an asphalt racer. Ever since the Worlds in 2002, Barry has had highs and lows in racing and perhaps his age is starting to get the upper hand.
