i found the same problem, the short side with the stub for little brg's needs to be machined off about 1/16", then when yu adjust the diff it can't contact the other diff half, also carbide balls, sometimes FT carbide balls have flat spots, keep trying balls till you get good ones, i've done that mod to the stel diff's, lightened and regular steel diff halves, smooth as silk, stay that way for a long time, make sure you break them in

I had the same problem with the IRC aluminum diff's, after screw no3 broke I gave up and went back to the plastic outdrives.

I didnt have a problem getting them smooth though, they were just not relyable with the screw breaking all the time.

have'nt broke a diff screw since running a B2,mostly a onroadie, was refering to getting diff's smooth, get them to be smooth and work properly you should'nt be breaking screws, bad diff setup = broken screws because of trying to get them to feel and work right.

nice looking but is it good quality? i think its gonna be more expensive than the BMI.

to be honest, for good handling and good looks..get the BMI (only $125 )

the majority of the cost in my kit for the tc4 is the material.the sheets cost 3x what standard component grade c/f costs.all the c/f looks the same but it really goes much deeper than the surface.

You get what you pay for. YOu want the best then buy BMI and if you want something other than top of the line buy something else.

Jason does top notch work and has since day one.

I have the BMI chassis for the TC3 and TC4 - I doubt if AE's version is any better - in fact, I believe it doesn't have the battery strap - which is a step backwards IMHO
