Default PaulTC4...

so far it don't fit and it's mounted very high on the chassis. It could easily come down 3-5mm with while still using a 100tooth spur and it could set level on the wing braces if you went with a 72 spur. I also don't no where I'm going to mount the antenia now. Either I drill a hole in the upper brace or find somewhere else mount it. Do you want to buy it PaulTC4?
I still may try it.

The batteries themselves are only .020 larger in dia - and the same length (GP 3700 vs 3300) - by itself, it isn't much of a problem, but when you add cell shrink and shoe goo, it makes the problem worse. Bare 3700's fit my TC4 just fine with the strap flipped over.

Just saw one on Ebay under TC4. 3Racing sells them.

Wait, you said it doesn't fit? Does BMI know that? Sounds like a pain, and it's not even on yet!

Good Luck.

Any word on if that aftermarket rack reduces any of the horrific side play that the TC4 rack has?

paul-concerning the antenna and the receiver wire, you could put some shring tubing around the wire to further insulate it,i have used this technique for a long time

Paul, you could also poke a little hole in the antenna tub right above where it mounts in the chassis. Then fee the wire through that hole and out the other end. This way there is no part of the antenna wire touching the chassis.

the only problem with doing that is that it greatly weakens the tube...

Paul-no problem.
