Default Just switch to the NTC3....

bumber set. Personally I would wait for a TF TC4. I don't have an Xray05, but I read good things about it. My two cents.

Default JDM_DOHC_Sir...

how do you like the Team Bomber CF shaft? Is it the same length as the stock shaft? In your opinion which shaft is more durable?

TC4 will do you fine, so long as you never hit anything...

I recently sold my TC4, and bought an FK05, at first glance you think the XRay is the more expensive car... well it is but only initially... add the hop-ups and breakage to the TC4, and you will discover that the XRay is the cheaper of the 2.

whatever..keep on telling your self that and soon you will believe it.you guys are so full of SH*T.. if you hit anything hard enough you will break your car..I have Xrays and I have broken them..Thats why they sell spare parts..I have a TC4 and it does hold up well. The TC4 is stronger than the TC3,My lap times are the same with my FK04 and my TC4,The FK05 is over $400,I paid under $200 for my TC4,I have ALL the hop ups I need for under $75,So for $125 savings i can buy alot of arms..thats like 12 sets of arms..you must crash alot..

My TC3s and TC4s almost never break. The only part I ever had trouble with was the front arms, but I bought a wide rubberneck bumper and never broke another one. The stock TC4 bumper is worthless. Get rid of that crap and get a rubberneck or rpm bumper and you're set.

If you hit it hard enough anything will break.

At least the TC4 comes with a battery strap that works, and a motor that doesn't hang out in the air stream waiting to be bashed.

And it's quick too.....at half the money.

whoever says the tc4 isnt tough is obviously biased against the car and doesnt know what they are talking about...my second race out with mine someone had their radio on in the pits and my car punched into a solid wood wall at least three times and NOTHING was broke or bent.

Default I was just thinking....I had my chassis...

millled around the motor, why not make a bottom heatsink, one that is flush with the bottom of the chassis. It would be more of an affective heatsink? Just a thought.

i agree

tonight i hit a pipe sticking out (its like plastic drain pipe) and it hit my wishbone/chub and all that stuff witha right thud (end of straight i hit it)...all that happened was my shell got stuck..not a sign of any breakage what so ever.

I would say the TC4 is VERY durable. After installing the RPM bumpers I rarely break. The only thing that breaks on my car is the body.
