Tbevofreak: Do you have a diode on the motor? Might try replacing it.

chrisw : Be sure all wheel bearings are free.

Hope this helps.

I'll give that a shot, Paul........thanks.

I love the car, but the cost to make it lighter, stiffer, and less sloppy is quickly adding up

How was the speed? I run a 72/27 with my 19T and it gets warm but not excessively. Any binding anywhere? Gear mesh set right? That seems a bit small! What ESC you running? Diode?

My TC4 also has this problem, I hear a expert driver said I may be over tight the battery plate to hold down the battery then tweak the chassis can't turn back. Furthermore, make sure your battery free movement in the chassis after hold down the battery plate. I hope it help, if you try this or other method can solve the problem pls send me a message to let me know. Many Thanks

Hey guys I still havent ran my tc4 yet, but I have a couple of quick questions. First, has anyone had any problems getting the shims on the diff outdrives? Any two any one have a decent asphalt setup for a medium bite track flowing track for rubber tires. Also what seems to be the hot rubber tire lately and insert.

Look at the Team Associated website. Go with either J.R. Mitch's or Juho's asphalt set up. Both would be good to start with . Try them both to see which works better for you.

The shim on the diff outdrive are a little tough to get on. Here's a tip: Place the shim on the bearing and then push the outdrive in the bearing. The shim should be pushed all the way in due to the bearing pushing it.

I wouldn't even install the plasic outdrives. I run strictly on carpet and even with a stock motor, the left dogbone kept falling out.

Plastic outdrives are fine with stock and 19T in the rear, the front will be problematic. I recommend any of the aluminum or metal outdrives for the front.

I've decided to sell my TC4. I have been running AE stuff since '86 and it's time to try something new. Check it out here
