I forgot to mention such things as he's using a much larger esc (his TC2 vs. my GTX), 3600 batteries as opposed to my 3300's. I have rear composite dogbones w/ IRS lightweight outdrives, and I beleive he had all 4 aluminum blocks, while I only had the rear-toe block. Maybe chassis to chassis the graphite would only be 30g lighter, but lil things add up. Hope that clears things up a bit

ahh right, sorry...i must of read wrong (i thought it was 30 grams for the whole graphite kit, not just the chassis)
thats pretty cool, i won't be adding anytyhing like that onto my car though, as i see it to be pointless when i would be getting the FT TC4 when it comes out...and my car is going alright as it is
only thing i will most likely get is a 2deg rear toe block.

Not only does the graphite kit lighten it up it also stiffens it up. A must for racing on the rug. As well as high bite asphalt.

After market parts?
Seems there is some lacking support. I'm searching for some 3mm CF shocks towers for it. Anyone know where I can get them?

Thanks guys!
So basically, a part from the weight you didn't really notice any benefits from the stiffness of the graphite kit (full)..?
I often heard drivers complaining about the lack of stiffness and probs with too much flex...how is the TC4 doing in big international races?
Cheers!

Thanks for hooking me up!
My only questions is are the CF towers 3mm thick?

Custom made carbon parts
I was able to take today some pictures of the carbon parts we designed for our TC4s, so far we have some 3,5mm side braces, they reduce the flex a lot but there is still some in the plastic braces area, a 2mm battery strap, it had been designed to be able to have some play so it doesn't tweak the chassis if the screws are a little bit overtight, some 2mm body mount plates, and 0,5mm, 1,0mm,1,5mmand 2,0mm arm blocks shims (We will take some pictures of them this week).
We would like to design a top deck but we really lie the open design of this car, probably a very thin one to reduce front to rear flex (with the side braces it barely have lateral flex)
