I'm also wondering the price...
PAL will be selling the spare Teflon Blades.. 2 for 700 Yen Retail and the Diff will retail for 3800 Yen...

and as far as the blades fitting on the Steel diff halfs... no they are about 1mm thicker in total size than the opening for the dogbone pin..

I did some checking and 120 Yen is about one dollar. So that would put that diff in the $32.00 range. Plus whatever shipping and other taxes that would apply.

You might want to check your math again ..

if you get 120Yen to 1 US$ you could basically say that 10$ =1200yen so times that # by 3 and you get 3600Yen = 30$ ...ect ect ect

Raving

A guy at our track has broken 3 of the steering racks in the same place as yourself. I think if you overtighten the screw it may serve to weaken this part.

Now you can get an aluminum steering rack, rc-mushroom has them in their online catalog.

My TC4 saw its last race in my hands tonight... ran great all night though I am not the fastest guy at the track, I was one of the only guys to not break anything, and finish every heat and the main. Why its last race... well I couldn't stop myself when I saw an FK'05 on the shelf at the track today...

The TC4 treated me decent for my first TC, now its time to check out what all the Xray hoopla is about.

I too also broke a steering rack on my TC4.

I was one of those faster guys that didn't finish, haha. Good job with a 2nd place finish in the A main Martyn . Your going to love that Xray.

Default Graphite kit

Hy guys!!

Is there a noticable change in the car's handling when using the graphite kit?

I know its much litghter but does the added stiffness makes a big difference?

I hope you'll answer me, that would be nice!!

See you!!

I went with the complete Graphite kit, and honestly, I couldn't really feel the difference. Now as for wieght , I believe I was at least 100grams lighter than a pretty much stock tc4, and also was only 22g heavier than a tamiya 415.

Toodeep's car was 100g lighter than mine but that can't all be attributed to the carbon chassis.
I had a larger ESC, bumper, servo, lightened steel outdrives, and of course the stock chassis.
Think we both had alu blocks in the rear, Toodeep may also have been using IRS outdrives and composites bones.
