K Factory make 2 different types of carbon plate shock tower for the NTC3 with aluminium adapters

www.kfactoryracing.com

the part no is K1239, you would have to cut off the piece on either side that is used to mount the upper arms on the NTC3 otherwise it is a dirrect fit

Fathead, do those fit the TC4?

Looking through that site, that aluminum steering rack looks sweet.

The shock tower adapters will fit on the diff housing as the TC4 uses the same diff housings as the NTC3 as long as you cut the upper arm mounts off the adapter, I'm not sure how the shock tower holes compare to the stock TC4 holes though, I will have a look when I get home tonight.

I don't know about the aluminium steering rack though, the TC4's rack is turned the other way compared to the NCT3 rack and I don't know if they are the same length, I haven't got hte aluminium steering rack but I will check the lengths to see

I have a TC4 on the way, I am picking up some things to build the car and had a question. The front bumper looks like it is the same as the NTC3, is it and will the RPM bumper work with it? Thanks.

Formula1fan

I use the rpm bumper , with some homemodified grommets (u will need the grommets from the ntc3 if you don't make your own)

I then took a foam bumper from an HPI nitro car that is much more dense than the AE and larger. I cut to fit and thats it. Not broken a front arm since doing this mod.

Heh well I have 2 foam bumpers already not including the stock one, and I was also asked to build one for another local racer.

I don't need any more +)

Hey F1, what email address do you have for Kevin? I ordered two more bumpers from him about six weeks ago and haven't received them yet. I wanted to get an update but my emails keep bouncing back. Here's the address I have for him. [email protected].
Thanks

I usually just wait and catch him at the track. He is a racing junkie and it's pretty easy. I should see him Weds. I will mention it to him. I usually pm him if I need anything.

Checked the holes on the K Factory carbon shock tower and they are comparable to the stock TC4 holes.

The outside hole on the carbon tower is a hole for a body mount but can be used for the shock, it is slightly lower than the other shock mounting holes but I can't see that being a problem unless running huge tyres
