Impressive? That would be the biggest understatement.
It's about half a second a lap off the pace of the TC3 but Josh says it's alot easier to drive already. And that's with old tyres and gash cells !
I came back to the shop with a short list of things to do and will do them before trying it again.
Will keep you posted.

We use IRS diff outdrives with Corally ASSASSIN dog bones. The Corally bones have plastic blades which protect the alloy outdrives. They are an almost straight fit.
We ran our TC4 first time yesterday with very encouraging results. I fitted it out with Corally shocks but with the stock pistons and 40 grade oil these were too hard and made the car bounce about a bit. It still made competitive lap times but you could see that it wasn't quite right. I have now rebuilt the shocks with Yokomo No 2 pistons and 30 oil and they feel much softer. I may have overdone it but I'll see how it goes on the track before making a final judgement.
I started out with the kit fan set up but didn't like the idea that it keeps the electrics mounted so high, so I have replaced it with a normal 40mm fan, and everything now sits nice and low.
In the meantime we will be running the old faithful TC3 at tomorrow's race meeting. It's now in it's 5th season of racing, but it's still the car to beat.

I raced my tc4 for the first time to day at chippenham (UK) in a big meeting, and it went amazing. I took out the shims on the roll centre at every corner, put a 2.5 deg block on the rear and moved the shock inwards one hole and everything else was standard. I quailified 10th and finished 6th. Overall in the whole championship i won the junior championship and finished 9th in the seniors

Can anyone tell me what spacers they are using when trying the setups from the AE website.
Ex. Mike B's setup says that he is using 1 spacer under the Circle mount in the front. Does this mean the spacer with one nub sticking out. or any 1 of three provided in the kit. Probably sounds confusing but I think you can get my question. Thanks!!
