Because everyone in here is a sponsored professional who have no other way to drop their lap-times other than by milling away .00000000159 grams of weight.

Carpet Setup

Front:
60wt #3 piston
Copper spring
Shock mounted inside hole on arm, 2nd from out on tower
4 deg caster blocks
camber link middle hole 3 spacers
outside hole on steering block
1 bump steer spacer
1 .025 arm mount shim on circle mount
no arm mount spacer on triangle
1 thick (offorad shock seal spacer) on rack
1 shim in fornt of arm, 2 behind
0 deg toe
5mm ride height

Rear:
40wt #3 piston
Red Spring
Outside hole arm, 2nd from out on tower
camber link inner hole, no spacers, inside hole on hub
no arm mount spacers
3 shim in front of arm, 0 behind
2.0 deg x block
5mm ride height

Diffs set per instruction

Parma cyan and magentas 58.5 - 59mm
Parma Alpha

Ti based 10dbl
everyone is about the same speed out of the corner and down the straight.

Car feels very balanced and feels fast. The other cars are just cornering faster. I am losing .2 to .3 tenths a lap and not sure what to change. I tried running some pro-squat but made the car just a little wierd transitioning to on power and didn't really help the rotation like I wanted. No real tight corners on this layout, mostly a series of 90s and some fast switchbacks.
Try going to #2 pistons all the way around and try the middle size sway bar up front.

What are you running for droop?

Added droop and sway bar to post. Droop works out to about a 6 on the front and a 5 on the rear per the AE gauge.

It has nothing to do with being sponsored or thinkin I am. I just think the car feels heavy and sluggish in the corner. I just was BMI Xrays and pro-4's fly in and out of the corner with little or no work. Im tryin to get the car to where I can just drive just tryin to find out what works best. Everyone was milling on there TC3's for "transitional" handling couldnt have picked up that much time, it just made the car that much easier to drive.

Hey guys, I plan on running a Reedy 19T quad mag in my TC4, and I was wondering what tooth pinion would be best to start with. Also, do you guys use the motor clamp spring the tighten down the motor or just use a regular screw without the clamp? I saw Barry Bakers car in the pics and it looks like he was just using regular screws. If so, what length screw shoud I use? Thanks in advance.

You should keep the screw if you don't want to strip the screw.

I don't how's your track but on a medium size indoor carpet track with my 17T I'm have a 28-72 combo, probably you should start with a 29 or 30T pinion gear

Is the carpet extremely high bite? You might also try going to the #2 spacer front and rear for roll center. That is O=2 Triangle=2 Square=2 X=2. Then try removing 2 shims from the front. Then try running the rear camber link as RBlove would say "FULL LOOOOOOONG"

It should just reach top rpm at the end of the longest straight. On our track, we run a 28/100 (64p) with our 19's.

Thanks, I will try the 30 Tooth out for starters.

Did you mean that I should use the spring clamp that is included?

Hey guys,

I need a bit of setup help as well.
I need a starting point for running the shims under the X,O etc. blocks for Ozite Carpet. 19t spec motors.

Also my car seems a little too loose in the rear. What should I do to gain some more traction in the rear?
Swaybar possibly?

Front:
60wt. #2 pistion
Purple Spring
Inside Hole on the Arm, 2nd from innermost on tower
0* Toe

Rear:
40wt. #2 pistion
Copper Spring
-2.5 toe aluminum block in the rear
Outer Hole on arm , 2nd innermost on tower

Purple/Plaid Tires

On ozite we are running the dlb pink/ dbl pink orange tires and the rear shocks are 2nd farthest out on tower and outside on arm. With purple springs. Im still running no shims under any of the arm mounts. Im about to exp more with it. Its just soo many tuning options and combnations that it can get a bit crazy. I think we are running #3 pistons in the rear too. Not sure on that though.

edit: rear oil weight is a little light too...we are running 50 wt.

Runnin, I agree. There are a bunch of tuning options that get me confused as well. Thanks for the reply.
