Maybe the "o" rings were torn on the threads when installed. I'd try a new set of o-rings. No I have not had a leak problem.

I have had a couple of leak problems. All i did to fix them was to replace the o rings in the bottom of the shock body. that did the trick!

Hey guys,

Are they any benefits to installing the Carbon shock towers on the TC4? I re-installed my shocks on the car yesterday and after I tightened them down, I could actually twist the towers opposite ways.

Thanks.

There will be less flex, and a tiny weight reduction by using the carbon shock towers.

Allreay opened up the hole under the motor 3mm all the way around

I too have also milled about 1mm off the side of the center brace so that I could move the battery inward but this is about as far as you can go without running into clearance issues with the drive shaft

Default weight issues

my graphite chassis. i brung my batts over closer to the shaft and open up the motor hole all the way and made 2 holes in the rear /front were the diff cases sit. chassis seems a tad bit lighter really cant tell but with those modifications i think u should loose 30-35 grams(some1 correct me if im wrong). i thought about drilling holes on the other side were the electronics go but it looks kinda tacky, i tried it on my composite chassis. ya us tc3 guyz need to find somewhere else to shave weight on the tc3(suggestions)!lmk wat u guyz think

Lightbulb New Square parts for TC4

Here are a few of them
they seem to be making a steering bushing that takes out some of the pay in the stock part

Default Dave did those mods make

the chassis flex more? Did handling change when you moved the batteries in farther? If you have time could you post some up close pics?
