Default best way to mill a chassis?

Any tips on the best way to mill out a chassis? I want it to look good and I don't want to ruin a good chassis. I want to do the cell slots, center brace (How many mm should I go on that?) and under the transmission cases.

You will need to get access to a milling machine first and then you will prob want to use about a 8-10mm (3/8" I think) end mill to do the work.

Go 3.5mm on the center brace and use a 5/8 bit for the battery slots and for the holes under the gear boxes

it comes out perfect

Don't get hung up on the idea that the rear should be softer than the front. I have found that the TC4 works great with the same spring/piston/fluid setup on all four shocks and that it likes to be sprung much lighter than a TC3.

What kind of track are you running on?

Same here
but I have found that the car also likes high roll centers on high bite asphalt too
I have about 3 really good setups for medhigh~high grip tracks right now for 19T and up motors that are really easy to drive :nod and carry great corner speed with a fairly good amount of turn in

They will touch the bladder if you don't have your shock ends screwed all the way on. if the piston hits the bladder too hard it will make the shock leak. screw the shock end (the bottom ball cup part that attaches to the arm not the shock tower) all the way in. that should fix it. but make sure your shocks are still the same length.

If you're travelling that far, that hard with your shocks then you may have other concerns than your bladders holding up....

The Stelleflue setup for stock on foams seems pretty good...planted off power and a very slight push on power...you may want to give it a try

Good result for the TC4 over here today.

I managed to stick mine into first place in the B in 27 Turn Stock at this years Carpet Thrashnal Series, but CML/Associated Driver Olly Jefferies has sealed the 19T championship title with 4 out of 4 wins.

Incidentally the TC4's were on form in 19T with positions 1-6 on the A final grid all being TC4's.

I saw your car today andy, it looked really good. Like andy said the tc4s were just taking over 19T. Wish i had run my tc4 today, had a rubbish day with my tc3 qualified 6th in the C except for the top 20 i usually aim for .
