I used grease last time but im not going to with this most recent rebuild. The grease thins out bad and its getting all in my bearings and leaking out of the case and just making a mess. I dont think many shims are needed for this car to get it where it should be.

Default asphalt good traction setup???

Ok who has a setup for good to high bite asphalt traction setup? I have my car close but it still needs something. It handles pretty good but has a weird high speed push that doesn't want to go away.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Default sway bars

hey guys,
question:

"How do you "correctly" set the car up with the new sway bars?" I am very confident that I can set a touring car "correctly", but for some reason, I am puzzled.....

I am setting the car up for tomorrows race in town.

this is the steps I take

1. set ride height (measure shock pre-load as well)
2. place car on a set-up gauge (to determine camber & toe)
3. re-set ride height (should be okay, but "maybe" slightly off)
4. set droop (no shocks or sway's are "connected")
5. re-install shocks & sway bars
6. check tweak (I have the Integy Laser one)

"Now how do I corectly set the Sway bars up??????"

can anyone help me out, I know they can adjust from the access hole on the bottom of the arms, but how do I do this correctly???

I pretty much have set them up by 1st measuring them with a set of digital calipers and then adjusting them to the same lenght.. next I would adjust them on the car to make sure that both sides would react the same with the shocks taken off (equal movement on each sus arm)..
I`m sure there is more but this is what I have found to work the best for me
