For stock racing, stick with the Plastic Associated units. You will not have any problem with these units running a stock motor. For added longevity use the IRS composite dogbones with the pin cushion. You will not have any problem running stock with these mods unless you constantly hit the walls. They may need to be replaced more often then you may be willing to.
If you are looking for more strenght, use the IRS Aluminum Outdrives. These are perforect for added strenght and reliability. They are also a lot lighter than the steel units. When used with the pin cushins, they will last forever!

For the record, last race season, I ran my TC3 in the stock class (carpet, foams) with IRS Alum. Outdrives in the front and the Assocaited Plactic units in the rear. I ran the IRS composite dog bones on all four courners. I didn't need to replace 1 dogbone, the IRS Alum Outdrives show zero wear and I only had to replace the rear plasticx outdrives once.

For all you carpet racers.. I think you are going to like the new car... After a couple weeks of testing .. So far the car is better then the old car, Even thought it is all plastic still :-( ....I Started where i left off last year setup wise and the car drove much easier with more steering and stability..

I still have some stuff to try and play with but i think it will be good......I think associated will be posting a starting setup for the car as soon as it is released....

Default TPhalen....

which team driver's TC4 is pictured on your website? Just wondering. Also will the TF shocks be green like on those pics? I like them and I wish they would make them a dark grey or something. I'm getting sick of blue.

Nightbreed: Carbon kit should be out pretty close to the same release time as the car. Also, the car on my site is actually TWO cars....one is the AE photo car and one is mine. The kit will come with the blue threaded shocks...the ones displayed are the Factory Team Hard Anodized replacements.

Default Great,...

are the Team Factory ones going to be light green then like in the pics? Also, is there anything else different about the TF shocks other than they are hard coated? Now that I think of it, I thought the blue threaded shock bodies have always been hard coated.

Yes, the steering DOES come with bearings.

Not 100% sure yet, but most likely the FT TC4 will come with the threaded hard anodized shocks.
