Default Tires...humm.....

I'm using Jaco's tires and all my rims have broken, but then again I hit stuff. I can say most are taps and side swipes. Broke a few arms before I got a NTC3 bumer.

I may need to try a different tire.

On the subject of shocks, I'm waiting for the new Losi JRXS ones. I can't wait to give them a try. I'm also looking forward to the new cvds design. I can't stand building the AE ones anymore. I would get the Yoke caps, but I'll wait for the Losi ones. AE wants too much for their hard coated ones, and again you need Yoke caps.

tell me about it, the tc3 and tc4 are both amazing rc cars but when i comes to thier shocks they lack big time, i took my 2 hours to rebuild my ae shocks and thier still not perfect, and i know i need to yok caps but which one? the ones that have the bleed screw or the ones without it if im planning to use the bladders?
i thought the whole point of useing shock bladders was to eliminate the bleeding process

Buy both they are cheap...

Though use either bleed scews or bladders... might be able to use the bleed screw caps with bladders... but not sure...

from what i have gleaned reading these boards.... get the bleeder screw caps and the o-rings for simplicity (o-rings are in the rebuild kit)

buy 2 sets

I am sure the bladder style are fairly simple to use too

What I don't know yet is who carries these on line! Any one?
Speedtechrc has them.

Who is CHAMP and how do I get in touch with him? Is there any online store that has this? I did a search and found some stuff from them, but not that shaft. I may want to get some of the dif's they got as well. Looks like they can help stop my CVD's from popping out.

TC4 kit? I read an artical with Cliff Lett in RC Car Action where he said there were changes on the chassis braces, suspension arms diff gears, and arm mounts. There you have it. He recommends you get the newest updated parts. Now, if I can only figure out which parts at the hobby store are the ones that have been updated?

Which issue of RCCA and where do we find it?

What about those of us that already have kits?

I just got a TC4 Molded Carbon Component Set and I'm planning to do a little cutting on the chassis to remove the battery posts and put a slot in for battery tape, just like my plastic chassis.

One question, do I need to be particularly careful when working on this "Carbon" material? What's this stuff made from, and do I need to take special precautions?

I see people giving warnings when working on "carbon fiber" or "graphite" chassis components...

Don't eat the chassis...it may cause choking.

I just bought the TC4 from Tower Hobbies for $175, and it is the newest kit because it has the new arms, and none of the problem that everyone speaks of. Except having to put shims under the bearings on the steering rack.

Losi Shocks actally sound like a good idea, thats what I was going to use on my associated truck before I sold it. They build easy and are super smooth....now all the way to do is wait...and at the current rate who knows when that will be.

The layout at the hobbyplex in omaha is rather tight right now, but not near as tight as some other tracks that I've raced on...
