you too, im thinking about doing the same.....im not going to say its a bad car, because every year this time im running a ae sedan...but i just cannot getting this car to become cosistant, im still running the cruddy plastic stuff and i know that has alot to do with it but if i think if im having problems now, why would i put more money into it...but on a good note ive gone back to the tc3 lol still one of the most competitive cars i think if you guys have any suggestion before it shows up on the forsale thread please yell them out. since i told my self i wouldnt be switching cars till this one blew up on the track or fell apart

Get a setup from Sobottka or Skip. I was running something very close to theirs and the car is pretty damn good. I just don't like the shaft drive.

My TC4 even with all the stock parts is extremely consistant. There are 2 of them here and both are extremely competitive. Against BMI Xrays, PRO4s and XXX-S. The fastest car at our track is a stock TC4.

I have never had a car so consistant and yet so easy to drive even when out of the groove. Just need to find the right gear ratio.

Later,

Just the bad-talking of the TC4, the high quality of the X-Ray (no argument here), how good the Pro4 is (no argument here), etc.

Then I went out and kept up with both of them. . .

The car CAN be consistent. I'm using the aluminum mounts and the 1-way/rear diff from my TC-3 but that's about it. Right now, it's as consistent as can be and I ran right up there with the other Sportsman drivers running their Pro4's, X-Rays, etc.

another one for you.keep in mind, the height of the ball studs are the exact same height as the ball studs on the stock tc4 camberlinks.that can give you an idea of how low the entire upper deck is.from the bottom of the chassis to the top of the top deck measures out at 1 5/16 overall(1.312inches).

Default Protc3....

any way you can add some predrilled holes to mount a fan on the BMI chassis?

Someone said you could remove the top diff cases without removing the top chassis plate, but I'm sure you can't by the looks of it. Do you have to remove a ball stud to get out a upper chassis deck screw? Not that any of it's a big deal Also, do you have to run no less that a 48p 100 tooth spur?

Man, I don't know how you got that wide upper deck to fit in the TC4. You did some great work!
