I ended up getting the parts that I needed. It just sucks that you pay $20 bucks and then have to spend more to make it work for a hop up part that should be a direct replacement.

So it sounds like this is more an attribute of medium-to-high bite conditions than anything else... Many of us are having the same problem on carpet with foam tires. Ran the car on some low-bite ozite this weekend and the car rotated TOO well.

Like everything else about the car. Well, nearly everything.

Default Any body have a great setup for...

tight, high traction, ozite carpet for stock? I just want to compare setups.

My setup is;

Front
60 weight, yellow springs, top-second from outside, bottom-outer, 4* castor, .50 kickup, standard hinge pin shims, one ballstud shim, ride height 4.0, second ball stud link in, 1*toe, thickest swaybar, plaid foams.

Rear
40 weight, purple springs, top-outter, bottom-outter, arms forward, .5 pro squat, Losi rear wheel hubs forward, 1.5 rear toe, longest tie rod, ride height 4.5, purple rear foams, Mazda 6.

My problem is that I can't get cornering speed off power.

Go to thinner front bar and switch to Orange/Dbl pink and Dbl pink rears.

Default Thanks Jack...

what will that do? Am I getting too much traction and scrubbing speed in the corners? Altough the rear doesn't seem heavily planted.

The thinner sway bar will help with sterring into the corner and those tires have less side bite but more forward bite then what you are using.

If the rear doesn't feel that planted then I would make the tire change and not change the bar. There is almost no reason to use plaids and purples anymore since the Orange/ Dbl pink and dbl pinks came out.
