Has anyone tried these HARD STEEL DIFFERENTIAL RING GEAR TEAM ASSOCIATED TC3 TC4 NTC3 NITRO DIFF | eBay diff gears? I am in the speed run game and we all know how much power and torque it requires. I and many others find the diff gears a weak spot on these tc4s. It is almost always the first thing to break on the driveline regardless of shimming. I am tired of replacing plastic ones even though they can last a few runs. I have heard bad things in general about these gears but not with much information.

Looking for a carbon battery strap to fit club racer chassis...Looks like ASC31039 has been discontinued for some time and wondering if there are any other options out there besides making one or does someone have an extra they would sell?

Why not use the stock club tub battery strap and turn it upside down? Dremel the nubs off.

I was looking for a modern mustang body. I See HPI makes one. Has anyone tried this body, if so, how do you like the fit and durability? I have only used the generic proline bodys.

Hi Guys, I already have a few of these available, if you PM me I can invoice you for them via paypal. I am thinking $30.00/ set. They are cut out of 3.0mm quasi-carbon Fiber.

The ones Joe ran yesterday were the first ones tested and I think the results speak for themselves. Joe's car was really amazing all day long.

I think that if ROAR makes 25.5 the new stock class, cars like the TC4 will be menacing tracks all around the country against any of the top of the line cars. Joe is a great driver for sure, but his car definitely looked fantastic. He also was running a shorty battery pack in there. The package was really well put together and Joe has done a great job developing the car.

His kit has definitely gotten the wheels turning for me. I have always been a fan of the TC3/TC4. The handling was always fantastic and to this day, anytime I drive one, they are still super awesome to drive. I have always wished that someone made a gear diff for them. I think that this would make them super fast in 17.5 too.

Christian,

You guys are no doubt a lot better and faster than me at this touring car racing thing, but I have been trying for about 3 years to make my TC4/Diggity car something other than a dog when running on carpet without much luck. It seems to consistently struggle with its weight and drag the chassis, even with multiple adjustments to springs, swaybars, roll center, and chassis stiffness it still feels like a very heavy car, plodding and unsure in the corners. I like the idea of the car, but I wish it was easier than it is.
