Hello everyone,
I thought I'd start a thread to deal with the new BMI 1/12 car/conversion kit Jason and I are working on. I've been testing the chassis for the last 3 weeks at my home track in Cleveland, Ohio (The Gate/NORCAR). Each time out the car has been smoother, faster, and more efficient. I'll be posting pics of the car I tested last night. If you guys have any suggestions or comments please feel free to speak up!! We'll listen to everything you have to say in order to make this the most user friendly 1/12 kit. Jason has posted some pics at the BMI discussion thread of the chassis without radio gear in it.

I had a chance to see this car last night, and I must say that it is one of the most well thought out designs that I have seen in a while. You will be suprised to see some of the innovations that have been incorporated into this new car.

P.S. This is a 1/12th scale car chassis for the associated 12L4. Not a 1/12th scale like the Xray or Yokomo touring car. Pics will be up soon if you don't know what I'm talking about.

I got to drive the car 3x last night. Waynes set-up is so easy to drive and has so much steering. Just get to the corner-turn hard and car carves the whole corner without losing speed.

Thanks for all the work on this Jason & Wayne. Let us know when it's ready for an expanded trial. I've got my 12L4 torn apart ready and waiting for the BMI chassis conversion.

Wayne... when you post the pictures of the test chassis can you provide a full setup for it. I know you posted most of the setup on the BMI thread but it would be good to put it in here too.

Are any BMI guys gonna run this at Speedline? I have a 1/12th car that I got for the Snowbirds that I've only run there. I'd like to see some Mod 4 cell racing at Speedline...any takers?

Adrian-I believe theres only two rollers right now. Wayne has one and Jason has the other. And both may get subtle refinements this week.
