Fatdoggy...
I talked to Jason, he's gonna work out some prices in the next few days. All he has is the total cost, no break down for componants yet.

Theisgroup..
I'll run it by Jason. The batteries would have to be rotated 90 deg. and a new designed tested.

Default 6 cells

Realistically, 4 cells (because of the lower weight) are as fast or faster than 6 cells these days with current batteries/motors (as long as they don't raise the minimum weight)

I may bail on this race just for that reason. It would be no fun to go to a race you have not chance at.

they are not the same speed. just try it. i understand the weight diff, but that does not completely make it equal. the car will be more lively out of the corners and still have a higher top end speed.

wayne,

if jason can get me something next week, I will test it at the pan car champs in san antonio. actually that would be the only reason that I would want to run a 6 cell chassis. i would not put a lot of work into it, if it is something simple like rotate the batts and add 2 more slots. and jason has the time to cut me one, that would be great. I don't actually think it would be a big seller.

I understand the rulling, and I think it is to favor some of the locals, but there is basically no one still making a 6 cell chassis.

Well, I got my BMI conversion kit yesterday and all I can say is... Wow! The fit and finish is every bit as good as the Hudy X-Ray cars. No sanding of the edges, just glue. And the titanium finish is like no other kit out there. It really is too pretty to race! But I will.

C'mon Jason, it's not that hard is it? I'd like to get two lower pod plates, one upper pod plate(for shocks) and a center brace. $15 for each piece plus shipping? I'm sure I'm not the only one who is interested in a few spares.
